Which Git providers are supported?
SpliceCloud works with GitHub (github.com), GitLab (gitlab.com or self-hosted), and Azure DevOps. Each uses its native OAuth flow — GitHub OAuth, GitLab OAuth, or Azure Active Directory — so your team logs in with credentials they already have.
Is my content locked into SpliceCloud?
No. Your content lives in your GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps repo — always. If you cancel, your files stay exactly where they are. You can switch to self-hosting at any time with no migration required.
What's the difference between SpliceCMS and SpliceCloud?
SpliceCMS is the open-source CMS you self-host on Azure or AWS. SpliceCloud is a managed hosting layer on top — same software, zero ops. Both are fully git-native and database-free.
How does the free plan work?
The free plan supports 1 repo and up to 2 users with no time limit. AI features require a paid plan. No credit card needed to start.
Can I bring my own AI API key?
Yes — Agency plan users can supply their own Anthropic or OpenAI key and configure their own quotas. Starter and Pro plans use SpliceCloud's managed AI budget.
What happens if I exceed the AI quota?
Editors see a quota indicator next to the AI bar. Requests beyond the daily limit are blocked gracefully — no surprise charges. Admins can tune per-role limits in the dashboard.
Is there an annual billing discount?
Annual billing with a 20% discount is coming soon. All plans are currently month-to-month with no lock-in — cancel anytime.
Does SpliceCloud support self-hosted GitLab?
Yes. On the Agency plan you can point SpliceCloud at your own GitLab instance. Set the instance URL and register a GitLab OAuth Application — SpliceCloud handles the rest.
